To Care Or Not To Care?

 At OOCM, we get to see firsthand the need and how, many disadvantaged children and widow's lives are improved. By sending donations to OOCM, you are participating in the lives of those who need help the most.

It was sad here when we found this sick child left by her mother because she had no help. I  thank the members of our staff that we took this child to our center and we started ministering help.... Thanks to the Lord! April 10, 2013

Our New Blog

Welcome to Oasis Orphans Care Ministry (OOCM) and our new blog site.

We are currently setting things up to keep you informed about how things are going at OOCM in Uganda, East Africa. We will be posting information and updates about the orphans and staff. Also the latest needs as they arise (and they do arise quite frequently)

School Supplies

Although the children's education is free in Uganda, there are attached fees that need to be paid for each child and the children have to gather their own school supplies in order to attend and be successful. At OOCM, we try to insure that every child can attend school and have the supplies they need. Very often we receive gifts of school supplies that are shipped to us and we have the pleasure of distributing them among the children. It is an exciting time for them and us.
